Dying On Bathroom Floor Poem by Alexandra Reiss

Dying On Bathroom Floor

Rating: 5.0

laying on the floor in the bathroom
door locked
voice on the outside begging to come in
blade pressed against her forearm
tears running down her face
she’s in pain and doesn’t know how to let it go
it feels like it will never go away
she can’t imagine hurting the voice outside the door
unlocks the door
friend comes in and takes in situation
wrestling for the blade clutched in her hand
more tears
then total numbness

This definitely has creativity. Reminds me of many struggles. I love it though. ^_^
