Earthquakes Poem by ROGEL FRANCIS SORIOSO

Earthquakes are movement or shaking of the ground at a certain magnitude
The effects could be felt all across in any direction and at a certain latitude
Toppling down buildings and homes without making any such distinction
Resulting to the deaths and casualties as a way of creating such extinction
Unpredictable most of the time but could it really be an event of a natural cause
Or an activity which is by design by the Supreme Being to create a certain loss
Earthquakes that could wipe out an entire village or perhaps even a city
Even causing a tsunami with the force of a hundred nukes in its capacity
Leveling an entire beach front leaving no life behind in its tail of destruction
Engulfing all of those not fast enough for not having a quick and safe reaction
Also burying men, women or children in the rubles of concrete and dust
Causing panic and distress in the ongoing movement of the earth's crust
It happened in Japan, Taiwan and Nepal so yes it could also happen in Rome
With a magnitude so strong that your own graveyard will be your own home
For there is no such thing as a "Ring of Fire" for a very powerful Immortal
The Science behind Geological Movements are a creation of a mere mortal
For he could make everything in the heavens and earth move according to his will
And whenever there are moments to give life a birth there are also moments to kill
A balance in the circle of life's very own cycle of creation
The harmony between Good and Evil in all of its relation
For we do not condemn death but rather embrace its given significant role
And I could assure you that the end of the flesh is not the end of the soul
So consider this as my own prediction of what lies ahead
For an Immortal lives and dwells upon my very own head
For one is considered to be innocent from the guilt that sins had brought
And we had seen things that are wicked from the goodness we had sought
