Against the backdrop of darkness, lays a silent night!
I lay on my back, straining my sight.
Beautiful specks of light I see above.
These were the wonders you gave me, my love!

You brought beauty to the way I saw everything,
Beauty of life, I felt was a blessing!
You showed me the beauty of smile between my tears,
The beauty of loving beyond all fears!

When things were at worst, trust you showered,
Trusted in me when I felt least powered!
Beyond mistakes, misunderstandings it held us tight,
Trust made our path even more bright!

When I was at a War field, you showed me peace.
Your words brought together my every piece!
A gentle grip of your warm hand.
was peace that held together every strand!

It is your love, Oh yes!
That's been so precious from the start!
To this butterfly, it is a nectar so sweet,
The only thing that keeps me on my feet!
