Emptyness Poem by Aiyanna Ortiz

Emptyness

Depression hurt loneliness kills
the sun might be shining a a smile on my face
on the inside its just a hollow space filled with quilt and
depression when it starts to empty out the past comes
and fills the space with black liquid once again.
mysterious past unknown future
same pretty little face and green eyes
they've see the world
watch someone get murder
torchured, strangled, raped, and beaten
stand here on the ground today with scares and wounds
that just wont go away what in my past haunts my future
in reality the no up for my just dont the rays of light in my
life are keep out with bolted shut shutters over window
sit in the dark and dusty room sing little princess sing my grandfather would
say with ur beauty and your brain you can go anywhere and do any thing
prostitution at 9 married at 15 child at 16 now nothing to show for my past
left it back there but somehow someway comes and knocks on my door and then
throws me on the ground an beats me once again
