Enchanting Delight Poem by JAMES T. ADAIR

Enchanting Delight

She came like the wind
She came from somewhere in the night
She came unexpectedly and said so many kind things
Said them all just right

Then for a time she disappeared out of site
I could fall in love with her...I might
I don't know where she's leading me
But I don't think she'll feel too much fight

If she should stay or go now
I guess that's my only fright
When she's near I feel airbound like a kite
Wish she was kissing me softly as I turn off the light

When she's around things feel more black and white
and worries and woes seem to run out of sight
Her young hopeful heart makes everything suddenly feel bright
She's a little lovely enchanting delight
