They don't know
The things I hide
The things I've said
The times I've lied

They don't know
The thoughts inside
All the time
On my mind

They don't know
The tears I've cried
The battles I've faced
The people I can't replace

They don't know
Who I am
What I've done
What's happened to me

They don't know
What strength it takes
To still stand up beside you
To rise above, when you want to fall

I wish for once in my life
This battle I wouldn't have to win
That I could finally
Just give in
