Endless Love Poem by Uma Pochampalli Goparaju

Endless Love

Rating: 5.0

We were once so close

Love was so tender,

Like the dew drops over a rose,

Like the colors seeping over the hills

With flowers under the rainbows,

Arching as a circle, spanning

Over the mountains, joining

Earth and sky on the horizon...

Love was looming like a thicket of

Snow over the Alps, lazily lying

On top of one layer over the other.

Alas, the seasons are gone;

Leaving nothing more than the shade of moon,

voyaging in the sky, all alone

Like a rolling marble shining in the lake.

Night is falling like a pitted blanket of

Emptiness: endless, dark and dear,

With memories, shining like overlooking stars,

As passionate as our love surreal, and

Moon was reflecting in our sleepless eyes...
