Endless Promises Poem by Rebensky JeanCharles

Endless Promises

I promise to give you the light when there is darkness in yours.
I want to look into your eyes just to know what forever feels like.
The same eyes that I look at when I want to see the beauty of the northern lights.
I promise to hold you when it's chilly, just like a teddy bear on a thunderous night at home.
The same teddy bear that you would hold when its night time, just to remind you that I will always be there for you.
I promise to always call you beautiful, well...because you are. So much beauty that you put Disney princesses to shame.
Your beauty has the power to save worlds, cure diseases, and find world peace.
I promise to promise, to let you know that when there is darkness and rain, sunlight follows.
Bringing a light and a rainbow that is almost as beautiful as you are.
When there is rain, I will be there, with a yellow umbrella and chocolates to brighten up your day.
So remember, I promise to promise to always believe in you and tell you that a day will come where happiness and joy never leaves.
