Envious Inessential Poem by Alufa Oke Joshua

Envious Inessential

Avoid those who diminish your dreams,
For small souls with envy teem.
Yet the truly grand, a beacon's gleam,
Illuminate paths where greatness deems.

In shadows cast by petty spite,
Ambitions falter, lose their light.
But in the glow of the truly great,
Dreams take flight, defy their weight.

So seek the company of stars above,
Whose belief in you ignites love.
For in their gaze, you'll surely find,
The strength to rise, to shine, to climb.
