Ephemeral Love Flutters In An Eternal Wind Poem by Terence George Craddock

Ephemeral Love Flutters In An Eternal Wind

love that flutters in an eternal wind
soars to cloud heights in ephemeral moments
can never be caught captured in nets

love which soars eternally
free in ephemeral moments
can never be fixed defined

pinned down like a breath taking glorious rare species

beautiful butterfly which once fluttered free
now pinned transfixed through body centre to a board
beneath glass in a dusty case in a museum shelf

specimen slid in out to rare visitor curiosity view
mostly lost in forgotten closed darkness ephemeral
creatures born lust live in ephemeral moments
