Epiphany Poem by Daniel Sims

Epiphany

An epiphany of reason and life,
To possibly end this bitter, old strife,
My mind's been a blur of utter confusion,
But this is the first step to ending the delusion.

Previous thoughts of its her and her only,
Maybe the key to why I'm so lonely,
But now I see it was not just her,
My heart and mind begin to stir.

They sing to me of stupidity,
Reason pulling me into lucidity,
Never forget and always remember,
It's you, not her, the fire of hate dies to an ember.
