Bengal. Stay a while here beside this grave!
(As a child takes repose on mother`s lap,)
Poet Madhusudan takes repose that
Way, falling asleep on the earth's bosom;
Birthplace is Sagordari in Jashore
On the bank of Kapatakkha River;
Father is Rajnarayan Dutt the great
And mother, Jahnabi.
