Erase The Age Poem by Tribhuvan Mendiratta

Erase The Age

Whatever be the house
Keep a corner
To freely laugh aloud
Wherever the Sun maybe
Ensure it reaches your house
Find time to be on roof
Counting stars that are never aloof
And try- yes, try anon
To reach out and touch the moon
People mean a lot
Keep neighborhood relations soft
When you have children
let them in the rain soak and run
Brought up in love, They may shiver
Make a paper-boat afloat in rain water
Find time to fly a kite with them
To shout aloud - "Woh Kaata", ahem!
Try to hear conversation of
The birds on tree in front of your house
When you venture out to roam or shop
The Presence must make a few to stop
Every stage of age is enjoyable
So remove that "AGE" label
Stay lively - why to have a drawn face
Live life as it comes;
Age is just a number - ERASE!
