ERE HE MEETS HIM FACE TO FACE



We have a sinful nature

That is rotten to the core

Until we can agree with God on that

We shall be lost forevermore



One of life' greatest autrocities

That man can ever commit

Is slight the evidence 'There is a God'

And to his need of Him admit



Like the ants below us

We watch them as they move

God's watchful eye is over us

Our thoughts and motives to prove



How great we think we are at times

When greatness is in Him

Who sinneth not yet loves the sinner

How swift He is to forgive him



O loving God and Father

How gracious Thou hast been

Longsuffering and plenteous in mercy

While putting up with our sin



Not willing that any should perish

But that all should experience grace

I pray the sinner turns to the Saviour

Ere he meets Him face to face
