Error
Concealed in a corner
In a blanket tightly bound
This was a border
In which I could be found
Stuck in a place
The only place I could call home
If I only knew this place
Could I say I felt alone
The only friend I didn't mind
Was my mind invading my space
At times my friend I couldn't find
So our friendship was erased
I thought myself stable
And completely connected
Never any fables
Much less room for discontentment
And still my sense went
And I spent many hours
Searching like a fiend
Searching for a whole
Searching for a meaning
Searching in my soul
Searching without leaving

I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings
Maya Angelou
I like this one. Conveys the idea of puttng up a wall, and being in denial, while spending o much time turned inward. Extreme introvertism. In the last stanza your voice escalates well, and it ends perfectly.
