Estrangement Of The Human Being Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

Estrangement Of The Human Being

Rating: 5.0

Man experiences himself
as a stranger in the world,
estranged from himself,
with his fellow man and
with nature in his struggle
to transcend it.

He experiences the split
between himself as subject
and the world as an object.

This painful confrontation
can be avoided when one
agrees to conform to the world.

But it is a form that does not fit.
He can put himself together
only in the loving and merciful God.

A great poem that touches on the intricacies of human being. Estrangement of.the human being.with the.world.and.himself occurs when he.does not have faith in God. Well composed and conveyed write.
