Eternal Poem by Elliott Gilbert

Eternal

It started in a small hall.
Besides you and I there was nothing at all.
On the make shift bed I laid my trap.
You claimed was yours but there I started to nap.
You lied down beside, making our breathing one.
Not knowing what you had begun.

Now we are here in a maze of confusion.
Going back and forth with no conclusion.
You know I love you even if I may say otherwise.
Create a false reality from love to despise.

You see right through me though.
Loving me without reason or know.
You will always be my salt and I your sugar.
Love may be endless but ours is by far,
eternal.
