Eternal Idea Poem by Sindiswa Nobuntu Ndamane

Eternal Idea

Keep me the way I am today
Do not throw me to the dark hole
Progression might be my main idea
Looking for other directions is foul
I can live with this sweetness
But not with previous sorrows
The seed I found is unbearable
It is the firm human life
I hated the idea of fear yesterday
I was kept inside the hell cell
My cry was off like a dead baby
I partly felt a spell upon me
Unchained is my real fairy-tale
Not in an infinite time I have felt like this.
