Eternal Johanna Poem by Fredrick St. Claire

Eternal Johanna

Dances, while lasted, lulled me,
but as I'm revisiting the faded pics
of our merry plans in the past,
your soft arms entwine someone else…
your fragrance of fair summers was
lost in the empty snow curtains of winter.
Harmony rules me, not hyenas any more -
the coming new day refreshes me;
I miss you dearly but you save me,
giving me the key of timeless existence
which opens the grave gates of heaven above,
do not, my sweet lady, curse my lines!
For you've become a pretty ornament -
what's more, a precious eternal gift;
the only flower on my desolate soul,
my jewel against the dust of my life,
where the deer leap swiftly in green fields,
I'll be awaiting you on this side… and beyond. Amen.

Great poem Fredrick. I was sitting on the edge of my seat while reading it! I was absolutely riveted. Beautiful.
