Evacuation Plan Poem by John Edwards

Evacuation Plan

Evacuation Plan
In the case of an emergency
Stay calm and quiet and listen to me
To the classroom door is where we will be
We will exit together just follow me

Join hands in line and you will be fine
Walk quickly and quietly and don’t fall behind
Out the front door we will all go
We will gather together to count our fingers and toes.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
