Walking alone, not sure of her destination
She wanders into the everglade forest
Full of magic and wonder, beauty and despair
She takes a deep breath, taking in all that’s around her.
All her worries have been forgotten, and her pain is silenced
She can feel the magic as the wind passes through her hair.
The mother birds singing songs of love as they fly over head.
Fathers protecting their family from the dangers of the night
Overwhelmed by all, she begins to pray.
Please allow me to stay, never to return to my so called home
Never to lie awake listening to screams of agony
Never to be trapped, Never to scared to the bone
Only to wander alone through the everglade forest alone.
