Every Thing In Its Time Poem by Edwina Reizer

Every Thing In Its Time

Walk for a mile.
Run for a few.
Pretty soon time's gonna
catch up with you.

So walk for the joy of it
and run like a rabbit.
But don't ever let it
become a habit.

For habits become
so hard to break
and those legs of yours
will start to ache.

There's a time and place
to recognize the signs
when routine undermines
what's best for you.

Listen to your body.
It will talk to you.
It's your closest friend
and will tell you what to do.
