Everyday Miracles Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Everyday Miracles

Thank you for each giving day
I have had for receiving the light…
An opportunity to marvel in dismay
Everyday miracles that keep love sight

Events that could be considered as cliche
Are seen as amazing… by a mother
A view that continues…never fading away
Recalled by an internal photographer

An infant reaches for a welcoming hand
A connection is derived from recognition
With self-trust… the child learns to stand
Monumental are occurrences in the transition

Thank you for allowing me to witness
Moments captured in sunset shadows
Reflected in smiles and tears of happiness
Until there are no more tomorrows
