Evolving In Prose Poem by Jarrod Plantagenet

Evolving In Prose

Caught up in a tumultuous tribulation.
This blessed struggle all consuming.
Life and death tango at dusk.
I catch my breath for but a moment.
Fleeting.
Fleeing one moment at a time.
Yet eternal.
Immortal in my being,
in that my being never ends.
Merely changes form.
I've sworn, the only constant is change.
Soon I change form, evolution.
Evolving into eternity.
Forever.
Free.

I am an immortal spirit in posession of a dying human vessel. When it dies, I go back to my immortal body.
