Green Eyed Devil Poem by Jarrod Plantagenet

Green Eyed Devil

Cold hard cash
Paints the world green
Take grab stash
Twice what you need
Swipe steal snatch
That sin's deadly
Your eyes of emerald green
Will attain more than need

The get rich quick
Habits that you feed
People under profits
Sew that evil seed
Airs rigtful owner
Even charges us to breathe
Faith love and purity
Dye his eyes green

Zip zoom flash
Wealth on todays scene
Poof gone crash
Karmic cure for greed
Give what you can
And you can defeat
The green eyed devils
Selfish extacy

Wither is fled
The visionary gleam
Where is it now
The glory and the dream
All that we know
Is all that we've seen
Another picture taken
In this warrior scene

Of our war machine
A sick jonesin' fiend
A conflict fiend jonesin'
To tax our green buyin'
Combat ready kids in fatigues
Poor prolitarian teens
That will kill with glee
Cameras steady, this is live TV

Gluttony and greed
Run like thieves in the night
Runnin' our pockets
While our pockets run light
Not rooted in spite
Yet despite any plight
They're shakin' us down
Just to run outta sight

Green Eyed Devil
