Ex Facte

scales of night
are the sails
carrying me toward
seas unseen
planets unknown
a sad winter bird
I leave dark
bloody traces
everywhere my heart
wants me to sing
now silently
watching how
waters of Lethe
are kissing your hair
soon you'll forget
soon my white world
will turn all red
in blood red despair
grand.. blood on red
is unseen

Poem of the Day

poet Edmund Spenser

My love is like to ice, and I to fire:
How comes it then that this her cold so great
Is not dissolved through my so hot desire,
But harder grows the more I her entreat?
