Existence Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Existence

Rating: 5.0

It was experience
About the existence
Of super power
When faced with rainy showers

What made it to fall?
For responding earth’s call
There was somewhere urgent need
The request or prayer was heeded

We often deny the existence
But concede to his presence
Pray almost in need
Is it not showing our greed?

How do we react?
When new born knocks
Our door at midnight
We continue to pray and delight

We are human being
True product of divine ring
That pulls string any time
We are reduced to stage actors sometimes

Hope and pray for best end
Before you bid good bye and are dead
Only fragrance may remain
You may only carry agony and pain

Hasmukh Bhai, in the first two stanzas you have gone back to the Vedic period. People of that era had thought exactly as you are doing now. They composed 'Parjanya' hymns to please Varuna and Indra. As your verse continues it becomes some kind of shower. KH Prabbu, Kumta, Karnataka - 581343 Apr 08,2014

We are all puppets and the divine ring pulls the string. Beautifully said. Thank you.
