Exposure Poem by Ima Ryma

Exposure

MerMom and MerDad did raise their
Mermaid daughter in sheltered way,
Giving lots of parental care,
But she was not allowed to play
Anywhere very far from home.
One day busy her parents were,
The mermaid decided to roam
Out to see more sea world for sure.
She saw something her parents had
Tried hard to keep out of her sight,
Not because it was mean or bad,
But be embarrassing it might.

The mermaid a blushing did be,
'Cause s ship's bottom she did see.
