Caught in, the midst of the chaos
Leaned against the wall, thoughts were lost
Encompassed chatters fleeting vile
Vacant stares and a cryptic smile
Like a masquerade, flames aroused
A pair of sneakers strode—paused
His hands within reach, she withdraws
Eyes locked on hers, trapped for a while
In the midst of the chaos
Her soul was concealed, just because
Oblivious of him, of her flaws
Deceived by love, he did beguile
Holding back, what had felt worthwhile
Kept the silence, by his applause
In the midst of the chaos
