Fading Poem by Miss Leila

Fading

Shadows fall over me
As the silence takes its toll
Weak and weary is the soul
Listening….

Paths shrouded in darkness
Like the embracement of death
So cold…..

And sill the phoenix rise
But black now is the flame
The great carrion…
Hope

And into the sea submerges destiny
As we stand watching
Waiting

With our laughter like memories
Dreams shared by you and me
Fading
