Fading Away Poem by austin hardr

Fading Away

</>The night is cold and I’m fading away,
Who I am now has no right to stay.

How much for the bullet,
How much for the cleaning.
How am I supposed to live in a world that hates me?

God, you have taken what means the most.
Now my life is left without a host.

Tears drip from your eyes
But I ask you not to cry,

When you hold my body and ask me why
A single tear drips from my eye.

Rolls down my neck and onto my chest
And rests on the beat less breast

Take my advice and don’t follow me
Because where I am there is no glory,
A big deep fiery quarry.

I try to look up but it is so hard,
When all that you love looks down on your heart.
