Fairy-Dell Poem by Ahatisham Alam

Fairy-Dell

Rating: 2.5

A vast glory of expanded greenery
In a dell of glorious scenery
I was wandering in search of love
In a feeling of earthly things above

Here I met a beauty with compassion and love
Her wings were white as the wings of dove
Her body wearing a bluish cloak
I stayed a while and spoke

She smiled and flew away
She started me a new day
I asked myself what you find
But there was something to bind

It was the joy of gloomy past
That affects my destiny a vast
I wish to live in those happy dells
It's not my reality my life compells.
