Faith Poem by Parvathy Nair

Faith

Rating: 4.8

Faith is what
Brightens the darkest of nights,
Gives you strength
To fight the hardest of fights

Faith is the lamp,
That guides you through shadowy roads,
Or the blanket,
That warms you in coldest of colds

Faith is the stars that bathe
The dark world in celestial light,
Or the silver that lines,
The ominous rain clouds bright,

Faith is the raft,
That keeps you afloat in roughest of seas,
Or a dropp of soap,
That can wipe the toughest of grease.

Faith is a kaleidoscope,
To envision the brightness of life ahead,
Allows you to dream,
Without a pillow or bed,

Faith is timeless, limit less,
And stronger than all,
What ever the odds against you,
It will never allow you to fall.

Faith is but the gay robe
Of everlasting hope,
That gives you the courage to break free,
From shackles of life, however strong they be.

For one day, the troubles will melt
Take away your pain you felt,
And the bleak canvass of life will again bathe,
In colors drawn by strokes of unflinching faith
