Fake Friends In My Life Poem by Qais Alwitry

Fake Friends In My Life

I thought they were 'friends'.
I didn't like it when they swore.
I didn't like it when they stare at girls and be dirty.
But I was still their 'friend'.
Until that day, that sentence.
All I knew is that threatening is not what friends do.
I decided to change, to stand up and fight.
And now I don't speak to them.
I've made my step and I have taken my leave from them.
I don't hang around with them.
By that small act I have less trouble.
And I don't swear anymore.
And I have true friends who I can trust.
It's your turn, choose your way.
Stand up to fake friends, or they will fight you.
