Fallen Poem by Cryssi Lawliet

Fallen

I've fallen on my knee's
I've given up
My body hangs from a tree
I ran out of luck
My lungs are compressed
My body? Limp and dead
You said I was your depression
The image of my death in your head
You claimed to love me
Yeah, I bet you do
You acted that you hate me
Yes, I knew it wasn't true
Stabbed me in the back
Lied to my face
I knew it was an act
I never skipped the beat of that base
So now I'm gone
And now you're left with guilt
I'm hanging from that tree
I know everything you never felt
I fell on my knees
I gave up
I'm hanging from the tree
I ran out of luck
