Fallen By Your Love Poem by Jessie Lynn Cross

Fallen By Your Love

Rating: 3.0

I keep waiting for the phone to ring,
yet I know it won’t be you.
Anything and everything,
reminds me of how you do.
I can’t get you out of my head.
I try to shut you out.
When you hurt me like you hurt me,
I want to scream and shout.
I hate how you are to me,
And I hate it how I cry.
Through every thing I can’t see
I have no idea why.
I want you to love me;
Like you have once before.
I want you to notice it;
How you make my heart sore.
Why does this have to be so hard?
Things just don’t make sense.
One minute everything was whole,
now divided by a hate-woven fence.
This sad song that my heart sings,
sometimes skips a beat.
Hit down by your hatred,
you knocked me off my feet.
How could you throw it away?
We are the perfect pair.
You know it, why can’t you say,
that you love me and you care?
Through all the tears, lost battles, and your love,
I know in the end,
that I will rise above.
