Fallen From Grace Poem by Theresa Ann Moore

Fallen From Grace

All that is wonderful has been bestowed
A day filled with God's light surrounds
The riches of love are given bountifully
Why is there sadness as a heart pounds

All that is admired and cherished is in disarray
What once seemed to be taken for granted
Has evaporated with rapidly fading rays
Success no longer overflows with enchantment

The blessings of life are scattered and dying
Accomplishments are tarnished and receding
Gone with the tide…along with self-respect
Lost and alone…redefine before proceeding

As night dims dreams and goals are veiled
The snows of winter have come... giving cover
Within the shadows of past glories and praise
Is a man who begs for forgiveness…will he recover

This is indeed a great poem, capturing the essence of the title.you have really created good images here how pleasent canvas slowly converts itself into a gloom and sadness and in the middle is an individual who is looking for a divine guidance sorts... Thanks 4 sharing...
