Laid alone in the dust a lily petal,
Broken and dejected from her family,
With no one to play or to battle,
She just murmered her honest plea,
A beautiful lily blossomed that spring,
And she was the part of that lovely ring,
Too elegant and graceful in her deed
Threw a alluring spell on a wild weed,
Weed, preplexed, mesmerized by her beauty,
To peek, to praise, sacrifice became his duty,
Weed, wild and weird, with heart full of affection,
Thought he, might be enough for his selection.
One day he raised and asked the gorgeous petal,
Petal, surprised at first but soon became nettled,
How dare you love nature's most beautiful fabrication,
With a creepy heart which is not even a God creation.
Petal humiliated, mocked weed's sincere desire,
But the weed smiled, accepted each sarcastic fire,
At last broke and lost, he descended to the ground,
Asked Almighty to surely make his heart in next round...
Petal, drenched completly in pride,
Next day, was unable to see the windy tide,
And in a single gush, broke from the lily,
Fell on the ground, lone and chilly.
A drop streamed from the weed's heart,
But unable to make the withered petal to art.
This is a beautiful lyrical poem with a message. Its melodies linger on long after we have read the poem.
