Falling Poem by Alicia Meyers

Falling

I hold onto walls,
To make me stand,
I black out,
At your command.
I'm falling over,
Trying to stay awake,
But it's not my fault,
When it's time to break.
I'm falling,
Holding onto walls,
You're trying to catch me,
But all I do is fall.
I black out some more,
I try to open my eyes,
But when I do,
I start to cry.
I feel like I'm falling,
Off of a building,
I land on nothing,
And I'm dead before you start catching.
