Falling Apart Poem by Kristie Murdock

Beep! Beep!
There goes my alarm. It's time to get up.
My eyes red and puffy from the night before.
A long day is ahead of me, it's time to put on that smile.
Act like I'm okay, like nothing is wrong.
Every breath I take my heart cracks a little bit more.
Every thought in my head, makes me go insane.
I feel like I'm losing my mind.
I love you with all of my heart,
Don't you remember all the good times that we've shared?
All of our dreams together?
They won't come true unless we have each other.

I know I'm not perfect, I know I've made mistakes.
Right now, all I care about is you,
Your all I want.

I'm starting to fall apart, with a broken heart,
and it's getting harder & harder to breathe.

I feel like I'm fighting for your heart, and my opponent is that girl,
who you hardly know.
I need you more then I need the air I breathe

The question still remains is it worth fighting for?
