False Hope. Poem by D.A. Woods

False Hope.

Rating: 5.0

I'm so tired of trying,
again, you left me crying,
but as my tears are subsiding,
and how I'm so sick of smiling,
trying to see beyond this horizon.

you left me again baby,
so now I'm going crazy,
wakening up and feeling it daily,
that's all I seem to do of lately,
miss and think of you being hasty.

well maybe one day I'll find somebody new,
someone who loves me oh so true,
and then I can start to forget about you,
then I will return from out of the blue,
and these words wont seem hard to construe.

I hope you had your laughs and fun,
telling me that I was the one,
like a car crash, you hit and run,
was I the type for you to shun?
but I guess it doesn't matter anymore because I'm done.
