fancy

If verse is the truth,
Does any poet speak it?
If it's the world of fancy,
A fancy of delight,
In life of despair,
Then greater part of people,
Live lives of deception,
They dream but dream a fear,
Jahan

Poet's Notes about The Poem

I have seen so many people living their nights thinking whether they will have something to eat the next day or not. Every body in his or her speech deceive these people. they are the majority, the poor people.

Poets are the can openers of the world's cans of worms.
    What did you expect
    They just reveal the truth
    nothing more (Report) Reply

this is sa\d to many people in the world wonder if they will
have something to eat not just tomorrow but today also..
if God would cause the people who have so much to find
it in their hearts to share with the people who have not.. (Report) Reply

I am the only being whose doom
No tongue would ask no eye would mourn
I never caused a thought of gloom
A smile of joy since I was born
