You said that I could leave
And that you would understand if I would go
But just because things get tough, doesnt mean I'll leave, doncha know?
I care for you so much and I hate to see you down and out
I long for your touch, so that I can help you out
Dont you see, that it would take far more for me to give up on us
I wont be, the girl who decides today to give up on us
I dont want to leave
Becuase you mean more to me then I even know
Even though things are going well, I'll be here to comfort you so
I care for you alot, so I hate to see you this way
Love me or not, I'll always help you each day
Rest you head on me
I'll tell you i love who you've come to be
Tell me your worried and fears
And I'll fight away your tears
