Fate Poem by Kate Warner

Fate

Rating: 5.0

you go out,
And you have a good time
Forget about me
I'll be just fine

Drink til your merry
In your case til your drunk
You come home and assume
Things are all good

But when i start to question
What you did tonight
You start screaming and shouting
You always think your right!

When I try to explain
Your pushing me away
You turn around and raise your fist
And hit me in the face

Do you think you're big?
Do you think you're clever?
Cuz everyday I wish
We were not together

If only I had courage
To walk away from you
But even if I did that
I wouldn't know what to do

Because you have this control
Something I can't shake
And this life to me it seems
Must be my fate.
