Father Poem by Shannah Leigh

Father

Dear my father, I don't mean to bother.
I just wanted to say Hey I love you, indeed I really do.
I wouldn't be here if it weren't for the help of you.
Although you have remarried I love you still the same,
no one is to blame, no need to feel shame.
You have changed in many ways,
but so have I soon I will be able to drive!
Here we go lets count to five,
then we will dive into the lake of thought and wonder.
Now I have a step mom and two step brothers,
but i still love you the same,
I know know this poem may sound lame.
I am glad I get to see you more,
my heart is no longer tore.
My heart is finally complete.
These words I mean with all my heart and soul.
Now I hope your heart is as well whole.
You gave me hope and you gave me faith,
doesn't this make you feel great.
You have changed in many different ways,
You make me have greater days.
You helped me find my way to the end of the maze.
My whole life is together again. So far all that I thank you, my father.
