Father
My dreams are tearing apart
And I am fading away
Why do you hate me so much?
The sadness I feel
The pain I endure
The tears I weep every night
Never ran away from it all
I stay
While you run the other way.
Never to look back to see your little girl
Reaching out to you
As you run and hide
And I am finally fading away.
