Father (Bapa) Poem by NRUSINGHA MISHRA

Father (Bapa)

Rating: 4.7

Your bare legs could bear pain to make my path clear
Your eyes had no glasses but were able to hide tear
Your body in the field with mud was walking tall
You are my Lord Shiva came to lift me from a fall
You were my umbrella to protect me in rainy days
You were the beacon shining my road with deep rays
You were the boat to rescue me in the. flooded river
You were the gentle breeze in the scorching summer
You were my creator drinking tears from your eyes
You were the silent bearer wiping your sweaty ears
You showered flowers in my path for future to be bright
You carried all my burden to propel me in sorry plight
You did the ultimate sacrifice to achieve my dream
You walked long in the thorny road without any scream
