There's one day a year
they can return, if they want.
He says he won't again.
I ask what it's like—

'Now hope is sweet.
' Then in his own voice.
Oh well it's a great scandal,

I have absolutely no idea, no point of reference, to help me understand this one. I am almost sure that there is a Father Lynch in the annals of history- -present day or long ago. I'm thinking he wasn't really resurrected a la Lazarus. And that is about as far as I can guess. I will return occasionally and see if anybody dug up the key to this riddle and shared it with the rest of us.
