Fear
consuming as it comes
chilling with the bones
beating like the drums
hurting from within
feeling lonely as it is
drowning sorrow in my throat
hearing scream from the heart
knowing it is coming
noticing you are gone
watching as it comes
leaving it all behind
calming as it goes
crying from relief
still as a stone
seeing you lay so calm
shaking you
dying as you left
