Feathered Friend Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Feathered Friend

I saw a Robin, as I sat awhile,
His presence divine brought a smile to my face,
If only he'd stay not to fly to the sky,
Please rest awhile,
For I long you to stay.
You give me hope,
That my loved ones are near,
You give me joy,
Replacing the tears.
Dear little Robin,
Please stay with me,
My sweet feathered friend,
A pure joy to see.
